Studies and researches on patient rights have increased rapidly. Different perspectives, new ideas and approaches are emerging day by day. Besides, patient rights violations are continuing. The Directive on Patient Applications has been prepared and implemented.
   With this directive, our patients are not violated, informed and informed at every stage, their confidentiality is respected, they receive all kinds of medical treatment without any discrimination, they can choose and change their physician and institution, they know the identity and title of the health care provider, It is aimed to provide a health service in which it receives an environment, respecting its beliefs, receiving friendly, polite, compassionate service, accepting visitors during the period of hospitalization and having a companion.
   The aim of the application initiated by our Ministry is to determine the principles and procedures for preventing the violations of patient rights in health facilities and the problems arising from them, increasing the quality of health services, providing health services in a manner appropriate to human dignity and protecting the patients from violations of rights and using legal protection methods when necessary. OUR PRINCIPLE IS THE TRANSITION FROM THE ORGANIZATION OR EMPLOYEE ORIENTED HEALTH SERVICE DELIVERY APPROACH TO "PATIENT AND PARTICIPANT" ORIENTED SERVICE DELIVERY APPROACH.
     The Patient Rights Unit and the Patient Rights Board were established in November 2010 and started its duty.

In short, human rights; it is possible to describe that all people are equal and free from birth in every aspect. This freedom was balanced by the obligation to respect and respect the rights of others. There are various human rights. Patient rights are one of the basic human rights.

1) General use of the service:

Utilization of health services within the framework of justice and equity principles. He has the right to receive services regardless of race, language, religion and sect, gender, philosophical belief, economic and social situations.

2) Information and requesting information:

He has the right to learn about all kinds of health services and facilities and to request oral or written information about his health status.

3) Selecting and changing health care facilities and staff:

He has the right to choose and change the health institution and to benefit from the health services provided in the health facility he has chosen, and to choose and change the identities, duties and titles of the physicians and other health professionals who provide health services.

4) Privacy:

They have the right to receive all kinds of health services in a confidential environment.

5) Rejection, stop and consent:

He has the right to refuse treatment, to request his cessation, to obtain his consent in medical interventions and to benefit from the service within the framework of consent.

However, in general, it can be described as the duties and obligations that the patient has to fulfill before and after applying to a health institution. It is possible to dimension the patient's responsibilities. We can briefly list the items as follows:

1. General Responsibilities

1.1. People should do their best to take care of their health and follow the advice given for a healthy life.

1.3. In simple cases, people should take care of themselves.

2. Social Security Status
